As the crisis in the Middle East grinds on, we are covering the latest updates from the field and at UN Headquarters as Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attack UN peacekeepers in Lebanon and at UN Headquarters in New York the Security Council is poised to meet at 3pm local time to discuss the situation and a UN official in Jerusalem will be the guest at the UN's daily noon briefing.
